Hey, thanks for checking out our listing! My name is Jamie, and I'm the seller of the property. My wife and I bought this property with the intention of doing a full remodel and keeping it forever both for income and for the in-laws. We love Venice; we built our current home and business here. But with more kiddos on the horizon, we're feeling called to spend more time in the mountains. We put a lot of love and intention into the details of this house, using the same quality materials and contractors we used for our home on Palms. I really think it came out beautiful, and in person you can see the quality and intention behind all of our choices. Each unit has its own private patio and its own two-car garage, with room for a cold plunge, a sauna, or whatever else you want. We used real hardwood floors, custom cabinetry, and unique natural stones for all the hard surfaces. Our first purchase was a duplex where we lived in one unit and rented the other to a friend, which covered the mortgage so we assume a savvy investor will end up doing the same here. We're also building a restaurant off of Rose and just completed a home on Palms. You're welcome to see our other work or ask any questions about the build. Not sure if you're local or where you're reading this from, but the new Maison Margiela restaurant is coming half a block away, along with the coolest shops on Abbot Kinney. South Abbot Kinney is one of the raddest parts of LA. I couldn't think of a better place to plant some roots while supplementing your costs.
